Falcons Steal the Win at Lucas Behind Aggressive Base Running and Strong Pitching

Hillsdale Boys' Baseball Final Score for May 19, 2025: Falcons, 6 vs. Lucas Cubs, 3.

JEROMESVILLE, Ohio — The Hillsdale Varsity Baseball team traveled to Lucas Monday, May 19, and came away with a 6–3 victory, thanks to aggressive baserunning, consistent hitting, and a solid effort on the mound.

The Falcons got off to a quick start, scoring runs in the first and second innings, and breaking open the game with a 3-run surge in the sixth. Offensively, the team totaled 8 hits, with contributions spread throughout the lineup. Six different players recorded RBIs, and Brock Bower led the team with three stolen bases, part of six total steals that helped pressure the Lucas defense.

On the mound, Landen Timms and Aiden Hoffman combined for the win, tossing a full 7 innings while allowing 9 hits, walking only two, and striking out three. Despite 5 fielding errors, the Falcons didn't allow a single earned run, keeping Lucas off balance and limiting their scoring chances.

The win set the tone for the week as the team looked ahead to the Sectional Final.
